Wigiwama Little Explorers' Guide #7: Engage & Play

Our Little Explorer’s Guide offers design-oriented activities that inspire curiosity in the next generation. We’re here to help parents foster good taste in their children from an early age, encouraging meaningful experiences that support their growth.

For this issue together with a children’s development teacher, we’ve created special activity pages for your little explorers along with fun verbal games you can play anywhere.

Activity Pages for Little Explorers

These pages are not only fun and educational but also a great way to keep your child engaged – giving you a little time to catch up on things while they dive into learning and creativity.

Fun On-The-Go Games

Guess the Character (3-4y)

One player thinks of a character from a cartoon, book, or movie and gives clues about them. For example, "This character wears red and says, 'Oh boy!' and others try to guess who it is – Mickey Mouse!

Whoever guesses correctly gets to describe the next character. This game is great for car rides, waiting in lines, or any time you need a quick and engaging activity to keep kids entertained and thinking creatively.

Find the Mistake (5-6y)

A game where one player says a sentence with a mistake, and the other must identify and correct it. For example, you might say, "The cat meows, but the fish flies," or "The pigeon has wings, and sharks have feathers." After making the correction, the child creates their own incorrect sentence, and the adult tries to spot the mistake.

This game encourages critical thinking and attention to detail while having fun.

Questions Only (7-8y)

Fun, quick-thinking game that parents and kids can enjoy together. The goal is to keep the conversation going using only questions. Players can only ask questions, and if someone makes a statement or hesitates, they lose their turn.

This game helps children develop problem-solving and communication skills while sharing laughs with family.
