The girl who inspires us
Ten years ago, our founder Anastasia built a teepee for her one-year-old daughter, Sasha — the very first Wigiwama piece. Today, Sasha has just turned 11, and she continues to inspire us as she grows.
The Teen Collection is more than a collection of new chairs — it’s Wigiwama growing up alongside her, without leaving cosy behind.
Your questions, answered
Club Chair: 90 × 56 × 82cm. Momo Chair: 90 × 60 × 100cm — both scaled for a bedroom corner, roughly the footprint of a large armchair. Club Chair also have a built-in handle, so moving it between rooms isn't a two-person job.
Tested to hold 80kg (176 lbs) and passes EN 17191, the European safety standard for seating furniture, with reinforced base and seam construction. Inside, a certified blend of recycled polyester fibre and shredded polyurethane foam holds its shape rather than flattening over time. Built specifically for ages 11–17, and to be honest, parents can use them too!
Every Wigiwama piece is handmade in Latvia – small-batch, not mass-produced with materials chosen specifically for your offsprings. Safe, durable, and built with real care at every step.
Our founder is a mother herself. Every decision, from zipper to fabric certification, comes from asking one question: "would I put my own child on this?"
And the design is intentionally timeless – no trends, no seasonal colours that date quickly. A piece that looks just as good in five years as it does today.
