The Wigiwama idea was born when you made a teepee for your daughter on her first birthday. What gave you the final push to make your brand?
This is easy! My husband was the one always encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone.
How did you fight the silent voices in your head that, maybe, it will not work out?
I continue to battle these inner voices, as just like in any other business, we experience highs and lows. Throughout the whole journey, I had a lot of confidence given from my husband, he had no doubts it will work. What is more, I wasn't alone in this adventure - we started the business with a friend of mine, and sharing a good laugh over our mistakes greatly helped us to cope with difficulties and boosted our confidence.
How do you stay focused at work when around are things you need to do at home, raise your daughter, and be a good wife?
I try to organize my time in a way that allows me to dedicate my full attention to either my work or my family. While multitasking is a talent, I firmly believe that directing complete focus and attention brings better results in anything you do. I also strive to prioritize self-care, although it can be challenging sometimes. However, when I am full of energy, balancing goes a lot smoother.
What to know when you start something new, what to prepare, and what is the first thing to remember when you start?
When you have a clear vision of your desired accomplishment, when you visualize it, describe it in your head or your notes, and envision the emotions associated with achieving it - everything will happen.
The circumstances will inevitably change, and various factors will emerge unexpectedly - making it uncertain what you need to be ready for. However, setting the right goal is already a good starting point.
