Crafted from 100% Recycled Polypropylene (Repylene) fabric, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The fabric is GRS and OEKO TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, durable, easy to care for, and finished with water and oil repellent properties for everyday practicality. The Dune Outdoor Beanbag Chair is built around a simple idea: children's furniture shouldn't be a compromise between comfort and design. Every chair is safety-tested for children's furniture to the EU's DIN EN 17191 standard. Clean lines and a soft, OEKO-TEX® certified cover mean it sits naturally in a nursery, playroom, or living room. It's light enough for your child to carry from a book nook to a den, and when it needs refreshing, the cover simply comes off and goes in the wash.
Like all bead-filled seating, the fill will soften with daily use over time — that's normal, and easy to fix: just top up the beads whenever it needs a boost.

Absolutely. The EPS bead filling moulds to your child’s body, providing a soft yet supportive seat that's much more engaging and comfortable than a rigid chair. It’s perfect for lounging.
The beanbag is filled with 100% Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads, which are packed in an inner shell with a zipper, keeping the beads safely contained. The filling is hypoallergenic, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
Yes, the cover of the beanbag is washable. For minor spills, simply wipe the area with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For washing instructions, see Product Details section.
The cover of the beanbag is removable and features a childproof zipper. For safety, the zipper doesn't have a pull tab. Simply slide the end of a paperclip into the zipper head to act as a temporary pull, and it will open and close with ease.
Our original Beanbag Chair is designed for indoor use. While it can be taken outside on a dry, sunny day, we recommend bringing it back indoors to protect the lovely teddy, corduroy or terrazzo fabric. For dedicated garden lounging, have a look at our Outdoor Collection!
